And our Latest Employer Partner is… MJ Church!

This week we have the pleasure to welcome MJ Church into the AccXel family as our newest Employer Partner!

This is yet another huge development for our Apprenticeship Programmes, as MJ Church has pledged to give our Groundworks and Plant Operations apprentices employment throughout their training at AccXel.

Our bespoke apprenticeships have been designed to ensure that individuals receive the best theoretical and practical construction education available. It is our hope that combining formal training at AccXel with working on-site with one of our Employer Partners will greatly enhance our apprentices’ learning experience and fully prepare them for a career in construction. We are overjoyed that our apprentices will have the opportunity to work alongside an industry leader like MJ Church.

MJ Church is one of the South West’s largest Civil Engineering, Earthworks and Waste Management Contractors. They were established in 1974 by Mike Church and initially provided services for Civil Engineering. Over the five decades they have extended their offerings to include Waste Management, Skip Hire, Earthworks and Plant Hire. Their team have accrued a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry and have built an excellent reputation within the sector.

Speaking on the partnership, Natalie Bell has said “We’re so pleased to be partnering with MJ Church to tackle the severe skills shortage. We know how hard they have worked behind the scenes to address issues like the gender gap, encouraging and recruiting women to work in all areas of the construction and not just administration and secretarial roles.”

“We have every confidence that they will show the same dedication towards confronting the skills shortage and will build an incredible learning environment for our apprentices that expedites their education and will help retain them within the industry.”
