This week we have the pleasure to announce that Mike Etheridge Construction have become AccXel’s latest Employer Partner.
Like many of our Employer Partners, Mike Etheridge Construction has pledged to give the apprentices on our Bricklaying Programme employment throughout the duration of their studies at our centre.
We are so excited for our Bricklaying Apprentices to have the chance to work alongside the team at Mike Etheridge Construction. Their founder, Mike Etheridge, paved his own path in the industry and surrounded himself with an incredible team that shared his passion and drive for excellence in construction. When the company became incorporated in 1999, Mike Etheridge stepped down from his position and handed the reins of Managing Director over to Gary Jones.
In the 20 years that Gary has been at the forefront, their business has skyrocketed. Gary’s reputation for delivering the highest quality construction services parallelled that of Mike Etheridge. Gary has proven himself to be an excellent source of inspiration for anyone wanting to enter and succeed within this industry. His work ethic, drive and passion for construction has even inspired his own daughter, Millie Jones, to pursue a career within the industry as a quantity surveyor.
In the company’s forty years of service, they have gained extensive experience working on all forms of infrastructure; including residential, commercial, industrial and educational buildings. They are most known for their work with Gloucestershire County Council and The Forestry Commission as well as for their work on-site with high-profile clients such as Taylor Wimpey, Elan Homes and Kier Partnership Homes.
