We have the pleasure to announce that Certus Construction has become an Employer Partner of AccXel. As part of the partnership they have pledged to give our groundworks apprentices employment throughout their studies at AccXel.
Certus is a Chepstow based subcontractor specialising in Groundworks & Civil Engineering as well as offering screeding and underfloor heating services. David Peacy, Justin Knight & Rob Wilson formed Certus in 2013 after they identified a gap in the market in the South West and Wales. They called their company was called ‘Certus’ as it is latin for certain, settled, firm, sure, resolved and determined – a perfect reflection their company values.
Certus has an impressive working portfolio, securing repeat business with leading construction companies such as Skanska, BAM, Willmott Dixon, Bouygues, Beard Construction, Vistry Partnerships, ISG and Morgan Sindall. They primarily undertake work in the commercial, industrial and education sectors.
We have many reasons for seeking out a partnership with Certus but a big one was that are dedicated to enriching the lives of the next generation. They are actively involved with Chepstow Boxing Club and frequently shout about the boxers’ achievements across their social media. Their company is also very active in the local community and regularly sponsor local events like the Brockweir Soapbox Derby.
