Led by 2 females and supported by a team committed to positively affecting every aspect of the sector, AccXel focuses on developing industry best practices and embracing changes relating to wider issues and considerations around SUSTAINABILITY, EQUALITY & DIVERSITY.
AccXel has fostered a culture and model of experimentation learning and innovation that traditional educational trainers will not risk undertaking. The aim is to positively affect the construction industry, impacting every aspect; from what is taught and encouraged in schools and colleges, right through to how those with the most experience can pass that on to the next generation. Collaboration is key and the overall aim is to future-proof the construction industry as a whole. AccXel enables students to understand what a career in construction actually looks like, providing relatable role models and first-hand industry experience.
TRAIN
AccXel is re-imagining the place of apprenticeships in the construction industry, with local employers benefitting from our fresh approach and state-of-the-art facilities. Students at AccXel have access to a breadth of experience from across the sector in terms of their experienced and qualified tutors, their employers - an essential part of the apprenticeship programmes (which also gives young people a much-needed wage) and access to a mentor – an industry professional that is part of the AccXel Ambassador programme. AccXel is training people to learn more skills and achieve their goals - this will more likely keep them interested in the construction industry for a lifelong, fulfilling career.
