Pete started with his father Keith in the family firm straight from school aged 16, hod carrying, scaffolding and groundworks. From the age of 19, he was thrust into the role of Supervisor/Manager. With the grounding complete, he took over as Managing Director of Bell Contracting some 25 years ago and has grown the business over those years.
Increasing the client base, developing the skills within the business and having an eye for the best use of technology has been key to success. Training and mentoring talent for the future is a great passion and a minimum requirement for a successful succession plan.

Yvonne is a firm believer of women being more than competent in excelling/succeeding in traditional male roles.
She has been a fervent supporter of AccXel and stood beside Nicola when her idea was first mooted. Yvonne has worked in various voluntary roles whilst caring for the immediate family and relishes the chance as non ex-director to stay involved with the next family adventure.
