
First Aid Training
What does the course involve?
We currently offer two First Aid courses; Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work. The former is a day long course, whereas the latter is three days long and covers a wider range of ailments you may encounter as a fist aider at work.
Both courses cover:
- The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR and defibrillation
- Recovery position
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries
- Cuts, grazes and bruises
- Minor burns and scalds
