SKILL STEP 1 - LABOURER

This course is for anyone looking to work in construction at an entry level as a labourer or apprentice tradesperson. The 3-week introductory course will prepare delegates for work on a construction site, covering mandatory topics such as health and safety and manual handling. At the end of the course all delegates will sit the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Test for Operatives to obtain their Green Labourer CSCS card.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our exclusive Skill STEP 1 programme has been developed to support and inspire new entrants to take their first STEP into construction. After this 1 week programme, candidates will gain a the basic knowledge of construction health and safety awareness to access sites as a labourer. On successful completion, candidates will obtain the Green Labourer CSCS Card.
